HI there everyone I would just like to comment on the towing realism that when you are towing in real life that you would have at least four five or six tugs on a ship the size of the Vermaas. I noticed this fault on the game programers part in a mission in the core divison of missions.

Speaking for myself... I have trouble controlling 2 vessels at the same time let alone 5 or 6! Unless of course you are Spambot, in that case you could proberbly manage the multi-task quite well :P

acctually you would have to be well oiled and would be able to control all tugs trough the same tug they can do that in real life

In real life, all tugs are controlled by the Tow Master or Docking Pilot through commands to living crews on the other tugs. You might try a five-boat tow on MP with five well-oiled players, if you mean “three sheets to the wind".

In real life a vessel like the Vermaas would use 2 modern harbour tugs during maneuvering. The Latitude would probally use 3 or 4 modern tug due to her maneuvering characteristics.

As far as i know, IJTS still holds the record on mp for turning and docking the Latitude in the New York environment with 6 harbour tugs in a realistic way. In was a real pain in the butt to organize it all, but it sure was fun :)
