Title: San Francisco and Environs: Buoys
Post by: captrlp on October 31, 2010, 19:42:43
When will you finish entering the buoys for San Francisco Bay, especially in the vicinity of Richmond Harbor and approaches.  When departing the pier in Richmond you have a mooring line made up to a buoy in the middle of the channel, How Come? There is no mooring buoy there. I suggest you bring up Google World and study the pier configuration for that area. yours it not right. As Master I entered that harbor many times and your depiction leave a lot to be desired for a simulation that prides itself on accuracy. Why can't you allow the use of the free downloadable charts in your simulation? The buoys would then be included. This game as become a graphic tour de force at the expense of accurate ship modeling.    I must say they did a very poor job with the buoys in SSE. Either the buoys are non existent or are useless; like the ones along the breakwater or the ones in the docks in Dover.
