I use these.. :)
-
Whoa :o Those are wicked!! Where do you get them ???
-
The Saitek I got somewhere on an internet shop some years ago..
The steering wheel I had laying around, had to get an adapter for it because it has an "old style" connector.. :)
-
I use these.. :)
I have the X52 pro I use for flight sims. I dont have a wheel though. How have you setup the X52, I can't get my head round how you whould do dual throttles.
Thanks  ???
-
The X52 has only a single throttle.. So I use it to control Engines 1 & 2..
For seperate controls of the engines I use the keyboard..
Saitek does have a dual throttle controller (X65F), and a cheaper throttle quadrant.. :)

Haha funny. I like the TG mousemat :)
Personally I justuse my Keysonic glow in the dark keyboard and my Speedlink Laser mouse :)
-
Maybe ...... someone could post a picture of a controller made by himself ....... home made stuff and still doing a great job !!!
-
I've been testing this. I think you guys will like it.
-
It looks okay, but I don't like the price tag too much! :)
-
I like the rail driver the prise is not my biggest consern but the throttle handels looks a bit ''plastic'' :-\
Still the rest on it is great ;D
-
v.h94, I hope you get the chance to try one. I think you would like the throttle levers. Especially with the sub woofer vibrations coming through them, they have a good solid feel.
I'm biased.
It's my product.
I'll shut up now.
-
Well atleast we know the product is good! I too would love to have the ship control unit, but the price is my problem too. It would be awesome if a less complicated one came out for about half the price, kind of like a demo to a game ;D or, as SSE is to Nautis. That sort of thing

Hi Chris,
If you have time on your hands maybe you should consider fabricating one on your own !:)

Would like to try that out on Need for Speed, lol
-
That would be "interesting". ;D
It would probably work. It's a game controller. How many autos have dual engines?

How would I go about doing that

Hi Chris ....
You may be aware of this if you were involved with the forum of SS 2008. Pardon me if this is rather "old news" and it did not interest you. Nevertheless, please let me know.
I am attaching a PDF file and if you want further information regarding this matter I can pass on few more files.

this is what I use and the, a bit crude but it has all the seperate functions

We make another product which is a modest upgrade from that: http://piengineering.com/xkeys/xk24.php (http://piengineering.com/xkeys/xk24.php).
-
cool, but I have a minor problen here with $$$$$$ or the lack off.
I just attacked the dust cover of the keyboard
-
It's hard to beat the price of tape and ink.
Our lowest price offering is a Matrix board which turns switch closure into keyboard or mouse messages http://piengineering.com/custom/xkmatrix.php (http://piengineering.com/custom/xkmatrix.php). Unfortunately, there in no Game Controller messaging available for that one, but that should be added to the next generation.
