Title: Use ships from ship sim extremes in 2008.

I was wondering if it was possible to use ships designed for ship sim extremes in 2008. I want to do this because my computer is not good enough to run SSE but runs 2008 no problem and I would like to have a nice RIB in 2008. Is this possible?  ???

I am almost positive this is not possible without editing the software, which I believe is illigal  :-\
