Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't speedboats' bows lift up as the go faster?
The one is SSE doesn't.

*my speed in SSE is 70kts

Hi freeciv,

Most speedboats bows raise out of the water at the start and then they start to plane, which means that they run horizontally. I hope this helps,

This is what happens to me if I go fast. I think If the bow lifted up at speed this wouldn't happen.

Could it have to do with that nowadays all small boats in the game are waterjet-propelled...?

Most are not? There isn't many boats that uses jets, most usually props. Or what do you mean? :)
