Title: AI is just sad
Post by: tecumseh on October 09, 2010, 01:41:58
Okay, The AI Ships in SSE need some work.....

I was resently working a mission when i saw a Large ship Grind against the pier :P
Soon After the LARGE SHIP turn on a dime and missed another one.

Come on VESTEP, you can do better than that! :P

I have also noted that most of the AI vessels behave oddly, especially in Freeroam.  I remember taking the Red Eagle out from Southampton and several ships collided together in front of me in the Solent, effectively blocking my route to Portsmouth.  They eventually limped away, but it was still very unusual.

Just be glad it's only the AI ships..  Remember the flying players ships in SS08  MP ?    ;D
I'm sure it will be sorted..

There are flying Ai-ships in Free-roaming also in SSE. I think there was a pilot boat passing over me, and it was also turned upside down.

Before have it been said that there is almost none Ai-ships in the game cause the fewest could play the game then. After this update came out, so does it more seems that the reason why there is almost none Ai-ships, is that the game in it self can not handle Ai-traffic.

I personally see this as a good thing!
In free roam if I want to be a rescue boat, and the AI was normal that would be boring.
But because of the glitches you never know what will happen and you can use your imagination!
Two sigitas collided in Padstow and I was called to go and help.  :2thumbs:
