Post by: Daniel Cho on October 05, 2010, 06:06:01
hi has anybody tried to play ship sim ex on HP touchsmart PCs??
it must be so cool to just touch the throttle instead of clicking or pushin keyboards
it would be awesome if it works :2thumbs:

Hi,

I have been playing extremes on a HP Touchsmart 600 PC since it's release but I still find it easier to use the mouse for throttle and rudder control. The touchscreen is good for changing views and panning though.

All the best

Also, touching a screen may not be quite as realistic.. ;)

hmmm interesting idea  ;D

but I would tend to think that the throttles would be a bit difficult to manipulate ... but not as unrealistic as you may think ... I know of ships which have and use both touch screens and manual rudder and throttle controls .
