Title: Is ship sim 2006 the exact same as ship sim pro???

Im thinking of getting ship sim pro but i dont no where to buy it...but someone told me ship simulator 2006 is the same as ship sim pro with all the dynamics and stuff...

Ship Simulator Pro (or Nautis as it is now called) is for maritime academies training people ready for sea.

SS06 was the first version of the series and is certainly not the same as Pro; it does not have nearly as many features, nor similar graphics and I wouldn't imagine the exact same dynamics. SS06 is for home use.

So how much would the ship sim pro cost and also the hands on equipment for commercial use..

The software alone for Nautis would cost in the region of 4,000 euros. As to the hardware I have no idea but it would be a great deal more than that. You would have to be very rich to buy the full set up. ::) Are the Afghanis thinking of having a merchant navy?
