Title: Patch Didn't Work Either
Post by: valleyforge on September 03, 2010, 14:40:53: I still have the black screen issuse. The patch did not fix it. Here is my dxdiag. What is wrong?

I'm afraid your system does not meet the minimum requirements to run this game, sorry.

No, I don't think so. Your computer can run the game, I know that.

Valleyforge, your system does not meet the min. System requirements that are mentioned on the box and websites. That is what is causing your problem. An INTEL videocard is barely powerful enough to run your game and is causing these issues it seems. Intel cards are generally a bad idea if you want to do 3D gaming.

To determine the problem, we need to know some more info about your machine. Can you please post your dxdiag file, so we could help you better?

Your dxdiag can be obtained by following these instructions:

Click Start > Run. type in dxdiag and press Enter. You may see a popup asking about WHQL drivers, click Yes/Ok to proceed.

In the window that appears, click the button that says Save All Information, when the Save Dialog box appears, save the file to your desktop. To upload the file here, click Additional Options underneath the reply area and choose Browse near Attach. Browse to your desktop, click the file and click Open.

* Windows Vista users need to press the Windows Key + R to access the Run prompt.

You can then post your reply with the file attached.

I attached a dxdiag output file.

Yeah, get a better computer
