sorry but it has been posted before

Hi langev,
First, this should not have been posted in Ship Simulator Extremes section, as it's not related to the game, SmallTalk would have been a better choice.
Second, you could just use the forum search engine with the words ""marinetraffic.com", you would then have the list of all posts mentionning this well known website ;-)
I move this thread to Small Talk.

Not so much Live Marine Traffic (as in Radio), but if you look in the latest issue of SS Magazine, there are links to various web sites concerning Marine Traffic. One in particular (the AIS site) shows a world chart and gives locations, courses and speeds for a lot of ship traffic around the world. Some, if you click on them, will give you a photo of the ship itself...not where it is currently, but a stock photo (if available).

Hi jim
this is one of the versions where you can click on it and see the stock photo with all the other information, im trying not to be offensive but did you actually click on the link and test it?

Hi Ralphy,
Yes I did....I'm the one who gave all the addresses for the newsletter this month...I've checked them all out, and they all work. Some of the ship that you click on in AIS don't have a 'stock' photo of them, so you won't get one, but you'll get the other info.
