EDIT: Turns out steam released a patch for it to work. Download it and it should work.

hi i just brought SSE from amazon.co.uk without knowing it was the steam version. i was just wondering if you could send me the link to the patch from steam as my screen keeps alternating between blue and black ???.
any other advice you could offer me would be very much appreciated.

Hiya Dangermouse.
That's strange that you bought a Steam-store bought version of SSE through Amazon. Perhaps Amazon gets a commission from sales they refer to Steam in such case?

Anyways, the update for SSE is automatically done through Steam.
