Title: Error upon Steam Setup!

So I insert the disk and straight away I get an error saying "Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed" and I can't do anything else! Has anyone had this problem before? I am running Windows 7 64bit edition.

I have always had problems with Steam

So far I have a temporary fix for this. I just copied all of the files from the disk onto my hard drive and so far it seems to be working...
