Title: STEAM HAS FIXED IT'S PROBLEM!

Hi All
All those people who have been having troubles with steam and the registration of SSE, can now breath a sigh of relief and start playing! :D

However, this game has not corresponded to Radeon yet.

Thanks for the news. Also had been stuck for a day by that activation key problem.

Although I managed to install it...but now when I try to play it, the error message 'failed to log in to key server' pops up. One problem after another...it's really hard for me to trust steam now :-\

Steam is working on this issue so some people may find it works fine, whereas others might still be having problems.

I have been trying to register my account with steam for about 2HRS and counting...  Steam site says registration is disabled at present.....and I have steam coming out of my ears!!!!    ;D ;D  AHHHH CANNOT PLAY lovely new game - going to cry  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Thanks so much for your prompt reply.  I think Mr Steam at Steam headquarters maybe in bed...

 I am will try to register again with steam in the am and hopefully (fingers and everything else crossed....) success.  :2thumbs:

Why would anyone want to use steam? Does SSE require Steam to work? If so I will not be buying SSE.

Hi John,

The only versions that come with Steam are the Paradox versions.

If you purchase the game boxed or download directly from the Ship simulator website you will not get Steam with the game :)

Captain Spencer I do not agree with you there about if you order the game box you will not get steam verison. I recently bought my game from Amazon and when i installed it asked me would i like to install steam

As Angus already said above, you will see that I specifically meant that if you buy the game directly from VSTEP (eg. the ship simulator website) you will not get a steam version. Most other retailers such as game and amazon seem to stock the steam versions.

Hope that clears things up a bit ;)

All my steam games work well ;D(Call of Duty 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)
But, everyone are speaking that steam have so much problems, so I think it's not good buy by steam. ???
I will need to download directly by the site, but, I can only download one time? If have some problem and I need to download again, can I do it? I can install it in more than one computer at the same time?
I Will do a Backup in my computer and all files Will be deleted, I will can download it again? ???

I can't buy the boxed version because I live in Brazil and the game is US$51,00 more the shipping tax: US$65 and I can't order a more than R$100,00 package, or have penalty of 60% the price of the product, and 65 dolars is R$107,00 for it's reason I'm asking those questions.
