I need help with my Dell Dimension e521! its stuck in Power Save mode!!!! HELP!!!!!!   :o   ???   :-\   :'(

It's posible to turn of the power safe mod, you find it in controlpanel, watt wesion of window are you running

But to do that, you first have to get it out of the power safe mode Tore  ;)

no when i turn on my pc, and i turn on the moniter, the light stays green for a second, then amber, it wont turn on

Does the computer beep when you turn it on? Just a single short beep?

Then I would say there is a problem with your hardware. Most computers beep when first turned on to acknowledge everything is ok.

This could be a blown processor, or a memory module not seated correctly. My advice would be to take it to a computer repair shop and have it looked at.

There is no video signal being sent to the monitor, which suggests the computer cannot complete it's POST (Power on self Test) proceedure to check all the hardware is functioning as it should.

Is it steady amber, or blinking? If it 's blinking it most likely the power supply.
If not could be almost anything. Try removing everything except cpu from the motherboard and check what the power led does
