i noticed on the cutters throttle controls there is a knob u can turn but i doesnt seem to do anything. what does it control?

i read that already thats not what i'm talking about. i know which controls are for the azipod; i'm talking about the main engines throttle controls there is a knob that you can turn. thats what i'm trying to figure out what its for

Striking back : There is nothing assigned to this knob. What do you think its use could be (except locking the position of the levers) ?

I have seen them use a very similar setup on "Whale Wars". They manually operate this knob that is on the back of the throttle control assembly. They seem to be adjusting or trimming some component of the propulsion system (pitch?). Very curious what this is.
