Title: Why need license keys?

Hi guys,

Forgive me, I am only 13 and I am very curious why VSTEP and other developers wanna add license keys to their software and games, since it caused so much trouble and you need to log into an account to get the download, why need it?

if you have spent years to build a game/softwere to sell, will you like to have all to download it and and not have to pay for it, do not think so, think if microsoft sendt out all their programes without need of a key, do you realy think then they have earned mony for all the hard work, same for all software and gamer company, well in the end we will not have nothing to put in the pc

The answer is simple developer's spend a lot of money & time to make a game they have
to protect there investment against Piracy so putting in codes licence key into product is
one way to make sure the game is bought and is a real copy that the customer has.

Hack? when you join the server it will be easy for all to get it without hack it, think before you ansver

Well, no not really..

But you could then just make copies of the software..

And use it.. since then you wouldn't have to activate it with a key.. etc..

One person buys it..  copies it for 2 others.. they copy it for others too..  2 becomes 4, 4 becomes 8, etc etc.

Hoy,
When we find out someone does it,we are very stricked about this matter,and block that user.
One thing we dont want around here,is that kind of handling.
