Title: My Thoughts on Ship Sim Extreams
Post by: manbearpig107 on August 29, 2010, 06:38:50
Well my opinion is that i am very disapointed with the new ship simulator. (at the moment).
so far all i can do is start up a free mode and hope i get to play it a solid 30 min. the game has very many glitches and during multiplayer i crash while typing about 1/4 of the time i say somthing. i have been with ship simulator seince the start of 08. and i gotta say i think Vstep could have done better with the time it took to produce SS Extreams.  i know that it is still very new an their will be several bug fixes and patches but for my opinion, it was a waist of my money.
this is my thought on the game, so what do you think about the game??? it has potential for shure.
BTW. i will not care for your negitive replys so you might as well press the back button and dont waist your time

I'm sorry to hear you're having these problems.

I installed the game +patch and haven't had any issues. The game runs as I would expect it to.

BTW, it's wonderful. Far better than the previous versions. Having actual waves makes a huge difference.

Windows 7 64bit
4GB RAM
ATI 4870 1GB

I think people with a lower spec PC (especially graphics card) than we stated as the minimum will generally be disappointed, and the people with good PCs will be happy. Simple as that. We spent a lot of time on creating a better looking ocean, with bow waves, stern wake, a more advanced weather system, higher detailed ships, etc. which all costs 3D power.
