Title: Is this a good graphics card to run the game
Post by: tecumseh on August 28, 2010, 17:47:03
Hello,

My Grapahics card in an Nvidia GeForce GT 120. The Frame are a little bit  of a damper in Harbors, but its still workable. would a move up to a slightly better card make the frame be a bit better?

Should work alright...I'm running a GeForce 9500 GT (1 GB), and my system is Windows 7, with 3 GB of ram and the processor is a dual core Athalon II...the only place I get any kind of stuttering is when I ran the ship in the Antarctic Ocean with the snow falling and all the icebergs...and then only when I was viewing from outside...in the view from the bridge, it was smooth as watching a movie.

G100 = 9400 GT
GT120 = 9500 GT
GT130 = 9600 GSO = 8800 GS

So it should run nice enough. But you will get some problems on max graphic settings.  :doh:

I'm managing to run my game quite well on Windows 7 64bit, 2.4ghz Quad Core Processor, 4gb RAM and an ATI Radion 3870 512mb.

I dont have the graphics on full but the game seems to be running very well.
