Title: Application Crashed

I downloaded the game from Simware - not Steam - I am experiencing the same issue as others but have not found a solution on this board:

After installing, when I start the sim it shows the splash screen and then a CrashHandler window pops open and says" Application crased, crash dumped saves as....)  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, shutting down windows completely each time.

My system is a Windows 7 64 bit, Core i7 920 with 12 gb RAM and a GTX 295

I have the exact same problem. Cannot get into the support forums due to not having a Steam key.

My system is Windows 7 32bit, Quad Core Q6600, 4gb Ram and an ATI 5770 Graphics Card

Hi, I got the very same problem (steam install):
The SSE splash-screen with progressbar on the bottom came and soon after the progressbar left, system said "application crash". This was in Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit, quad-core Q9550, GeForce 8800GTX, reboots and running as admin didn't work.

However I got it working after installing the latest drivers for the gfx-card from Nvidia (version 258.96), but now I'm blocked with the cd-key which isn't provided...

Non-exist cd-key can not be activated..., but I hope my "personal technical support" above will help everyone reading this thread.

And now Steam also provided cd-key the at the startup!
Just ctrl+c and then when it asks it, ctrl+v and it works, up and running, nice. :)

Yup, latest nVidia drivers solved the problem, Doh!

Anybody know if TrackIR is supported?

I have the same problem, i update ATI driver (latest 25/8/2010 v.10.8 ) from AMD-ATI, but it don' t work... :thumbdown:
How can i do to work?
