Title: error using eDimensional 3D software

Ship Simulator 2008 exits when I try to use the eDimensional 3D shutter glasses in Direct3D 9 mode. Is there a fix to this error or does a set of instructions exists in order to turn on 3D in Ship Simulator 2008 ?

p.s. I have all graphics options set to max in SLI mode. I use alternate frame rendering 1.
