Title: Volumes/Quiet horn
Post by: blackhawks41 on August 27, 2010, 17:45:40
Ive been playing the game for a while now and noticed the engine sound slider seems to control both the engine noises and the ship horn volume. My question is whether there is any way to control the horn volume independently, due to the fact that in order to properly hear the horn, i have my speakers turned up so loud the engine noise is causing the subwoofer to shake the whole house  ;D

You could mount a subwoofer onto the ceiling of the crawlspace under your house. When playing with SS08/SSE2010 you will feel the engines in your whole house vibrating just as if you are on board a real vessel. But the disadvantages are annoyances for your neighbours and the construction of your house may fail due to the massive vibrations from the subwoofer.
