I can confirm this is the OFFCIAL patch, from V1.0 to V1.1.
It might be best to download it from the official ship sim website for security though

Hmm i just saw your sig "*The V1.1. Patch for SSE is ONLY applicable to the boxed versions from Paradox, it does NOT affect download versions * check your build beforehand *", I have the "downloaded" version of the game and have downloaded the patch from shipsim.com, applied it and it installed correctly...does it mean i did something wrong? And how's that it affects only the boxed version?

well you don't need it but i think it are ok

Yes simply that, the download versions are already v1.1. so no need to download the patch.
It shouldnt do any harm though :2thumbs:

Hi guys,
The download version of the game already includes the patch. The only people who need the patch are those who purchased the boxed version :)
-
OK, but then they could say so on the download-updates (http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/updates)web page...
-
True, but it is beyond our control. Which is odd really, considering I am a web developer
