Hi,
I just wrote a little guide to help you configuring your ATI video card, in order to obtain a better visual rendering with ship simulator (and other 3D games, too).
You can find this here : http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,19579.msg266905.html#msg266905
comments are welcome in this topic, off course :)

Hi Denis,
Many thanks for that! Although my card is a Nvidia i'm sure people will make good use out of that...worth its weight in gold I think!!

It's a very good tutorial. I would just added something, which is the profiles, mainly because some games have more options than shipsim, and so we can adjust it individually. I have a profile just for ShipSim 08, and i activate it only when I will play it. :2thumbs:

Even though I don't have ATI.
I looked at some of the features you were putting it on, like quality instead of performance.
And it worked a treat!! It's the first time it's ever looked so good
Thank you soooooooo much Denis & Mad_Fred for taking the time!

Nice to read this has been helpful :)
You're right, TNeves : I might add something about using profiles. Could be very helpful too !

If you want, I might do it! Its very easy. I will post here, and then you just need to copy to the sticky thread. What do you think? :2thumbs:

No problem if you want to write it down, would be great :)
