Hi, i have come up with a good idea. I wonder if it is possible that you can Re-name the ships on ship sim to make two sister ships with different names, i mean the titanic can be re-named into her sister ship the Olympic (as they were the same) and ocean star can have a sister ship like Ocean Wave or somthing
Wonder if it is possible???
well it is an idea after all

Ahoy Tore,
The 'Point' could be a more realistic way when there are more then 1 of the same vessel active in a mission. Like in the standard Mission where two tugs of the same kind (Fairmount Sherpa) are involved towing away an Oilrig.
As far as I know there is only one vessel named Fairmount Sherpa, so if the possibility to rename ships was there you could rename one of those two to p.e. Fairmount Tigra. The same counts for the other vessels or even the Oilrig itself. You want find two Erik Raude's when you were searching for them. Maybe Erik Raude I, Erik Raude II etc. Same for the Bugsier, the RPA Vessels etc etc.
And last but not least, maybe it's (for VSTEP that is) a lot easier to just rename and add a vessel to the shipyard than to rebuild a sistership from scratch.
Kind Regards
Aad

the pioneer and the arie visser are the same ships

The difference between the Arie Visser and the Pioneer is more than just the name. And those two are no Sisters.

The in-game Pioneer doesn't even comes close to the real Pioneer

[speculation]If anyone goes back to the Calais pictures in the last edition of the SS Mag, you'll notice that POR has no name written on the hull...maybe a sign that we can write our own names on?[/speculation]

[educated guess]Then again maybe not.[/educated guess]
;D

IF that was possible, it would only be available for a few vessels due to copyright. I don't think P&O will fancy the Stena Rotterdam that much... ;D

Like Vermaas can be and this is at random, the Markus?
