SS United States is safe! A 5.8 million dollar donation was given to maintain the ship for 20 months.

Sadly no, I don't think so, people just don't seem to care about an old rusty liner and some no doubt think she is an eyesour in the Philly harbour. It's quite sad. Those of us that do care probably don't have enough of us to raise the money to restore her.
