I know others have posted regarding problems installing to Win7 but I think mine is a bit different.
I have been trying to install the collectors edition 2008, with never ending problems like when I try installing nothinghappens or the install screen comes up and I get a message like 'Only a readprocessmemory or write processmemory request was completed' :'(
I wouldnt mind if I thought it was incompatible or something but I downloaded the demo and it runs amazingly.
I also looked on here for advice and what not but nothing seems to work. It is a 1.4.2 version anyway and I tried install as admin with not luck.
I dont think the problem is with win7 because of how the demo worked but its really starting to get at me.
I just dont have a clue ??? ???

Dont use the autorun on the DVD
open the dvd and run the setup file as an administrator, right click on it and thouse run as an administrator then i think it will work for you
and if you register you game key into the forum profile then you will get more help

Thanks re forum Key and welcome, where do I enter it.
Regarding the install I did it exeactly as you said and it just wont work.
I cant beleive its as difficult as it is esspecially when the demo flew on ???

scroll down to the key feel and type it their
remember when installing the colector edition it ask first for the New Horizon key and then shipsim key
add both in the forum
after you have add ed the keys into forum ask in teck forum then i can help you more
