Title: Would this work?
Post by: trains on June 22, 2010, 15:01:16
Hey everyone, I have been looking at laptops since mine died completely and found a possible. Seeing as I've been getting birthday money(yeah it's my birthday lol) I am planning on buying this laptop.

It looks really good and has a Dual Core Processor, so that would be very helpful. Would this run Ship Simulator Extremes without speed or space problems?

Thanks for any help :)

Scott

The only thing i see is that the Processer Speed is a little slow it is 2.1Ghz whn required by SSE is 2.4Ghz

Here is SSE System Minimum Requirements

Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
Pentium 4 2.4GHz or AMD equivalent 1GB (Windows XP) or 2GB (Vista or Windows 7)
GeForce 6800 or ATI X1800 (with 256MB memory)
Sound card
Mouse with scroll wheel
Optional: Joystick, Joypad or Steering wheel

May I recomend this one?

It'll get you by 2.4 Ghz Processer it is what is required for SSE, but again its also the minimum, and it has BlueRay Feature, Same amount of Graphics Card Memory 1919Mb (1.9 gb) and the ram is good 4 Gbs so thats pretty good

Thanks for the Happy Birthdays. :)

One question: Did anyone consider I mentioned a Dual Core Processor? I had 2.1 ghz on my laptop with a Dual Core Processor, ran like a dream. I was just making sure I'd have no problems haha.
