Terrible.

Poor cruise ship. Those storms are very dangerous, especialy for the cruise ships, with 2000 passangers onboard and 1500 crew members. Also they are expensive.
Those storms can destroy them.

I watched your Utube video, and then the next one entitled `Cruise ship almost turns over`.    I noted that the cruise ship was rolling very heavily to starboard but not at all to port.  Yet she seemed to be going into `head`seas.   Maybe extreme winds from port side, though seas more often than not `go before the wind`[but there can be exceptions].     Ah ! No !  I`ve got it now !  Silly passengers all sitting to starboard !   Should have shifted some of them !

I do not understand how can the release the anchor if they know the TUG is there???
Or the anchore fell down???

I can't see the video at the moment, I'm in school. However I think I know the video you are talking about.

If I remember correctly it was an environmental activist's (Greenpeace?) vessel, and the anchor was dropped deliberately to stop them interfering...

So they were thinking that they can get a way with some old ship wich can go 5 knots??? From the pilot, also they are dropping anchor on it??? That's a trying to murder. The Cost Guard will catch them soon or later.

That doesn't really look like a enviromental activist boat to me.

I would relate the cause more the human fault or mechanical failure.

Unless ofcourse if somebody comes with relevant information!  ;)

They must have been pretty annoyed at seeing that whale on the side of the whaling ship.
