Title: Vermaas walkthrough problem

  Hello,
    I have not seen anything similar to this on the form so I don't know if anyone else has this problem. In walk through I can't get the "person" pats the first mooring thing off the bridge heading to the bow but, it works fine on the stern. So I am unable to walk to the front of the Vermaas.

Maybe my walk through "person" is too fat? ???

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

wel i have that problem too.

but i do not know if it will be fiixed for SS08

I have the most current version  1.4.2

I was able to go on Vermaas' bow before I upgraded to 1.4.2.

So the lesson is:

Never upgrade SS to 1.4.2 until you return from the Vermaas' bow back to your work place aka helm.  ;)

The fact is that it is possible to pass the obstacles and get to the bow of Vermaas in V 1.4.2.

  I don't know why but I just cant get there. The "person" gets stuck halfway through the mooring thing on the left and right side but only in the front I can get to the stern just fine.

  How did you get past?

It is trickjy, but possible...

I generally have to look down and 'sidestep though', by lookinbg towards the sea...

very slow but does get thruogh eventually

It is just a matter of patience and sidestepping a little bit when you get to the obstruction. As has been mentioned above it CAN be done with a little extra thought. Try changing cameras at the point where you become stuck by the mooring bitts and then changing back. There is a second obstruction further for'd where you can get past by going OUTSIDE the bitts. You have to be very, very, thin to do it. ::)

    Yea, I thought you could squeeze past but I just get stuck and If I am in a port I spend so much time trying to get past I end up crashing the ship into the dock!  :doh:

3 months diet helped, I finally managed to get to the bow.

There is a small gap in the walkthrough mask; hitting it is a matter of luck, mostly.
The first obstacle seems to be a little easier on the starboard side.
WM’s three-month diet does not explain how he got his head through.

Diet helped indeed, but as for a head thing - that's a thanks to plastic surgery & Ferryman's advice.
