Title: Now that I have new Motherboard - SS08 Installation
Post by: The Ferry Man on March 24, 2010, 16:29:49
Hi Guys

Now that I have my new motherboard, is there anything that I need to do before I install SS08

(ie my C: Drive seems to have been refreshed, so what about my Profile) Can I just assume to start from the beginning?

Also attached is my new DXDiag - I assume it should still be essentially the same, just had a new motherboard, but not sure what effect it may have had (If any)?

Thanks

TFM

HI TFM

If you have installed all drivers for motherboard, graphic card and win update you can install ss right away, remember do it as a administrator

Well first off, make sure you have the latest drivers for your system. This includes everything from display drivers to processor drivers.

Run windows update just to make sure.

You should be fine to proceed as normal, but if it's a new operating system installation then I would suggest making sure you have everything up to date :)
