Title: end game - how?
Post by: polleraffe on March 05, 2010, 15:08:50
Hi all,
I have just installed SS 2008 and played a few rounds. What I haven't been able to find is the proper way to exit from a game (except killing it via the Windows Task Manager). The manual (German version contains no hint, and so far I have not discovered a "Help" feature.

How do you end a game?

Using the esc key exits the playing scenario.

Thanks, guys.

I had tried ESC but it didn't work. It does now, however. (????)

Alt-F4: Should have thought of that. I often use this to exit from programs.

Again: thanks!

I had this problem when I first started, I figured it out in the end as I suppose it did seem sort of obvious. But it would be nice if there was any hint in the game at this or an actual exit button as this is the first and only game (or simulation for all you major enthusiasts. ;)) I know of that doesn't have this.
