Title: I have problem whit cd key for 1.4.2
Post by: BrunoHP on February 20, 2010, 20:44:48: Hi guys, I need help with CD key. I installed Ship Sim 2008 v1.0 and put my cd key and all is fine. I install v1.4.2 and he wants to put Ship Sim 2008 cd key. I put and he says error. Please I love ships and I want play that perfect game!

I have just purchased Ship 2008 V 1.4.2, after uploading it onto my PC , it has not asked for my licence key at all, and this is the second CD that i have been supplied with..... Also there are no ready made missions to play? is this the norm, i.e do i have to build my own via pressing the new icon, the only icon's i can press when i first load the game is new or existing... existing is blank and new takes me to another screen where there are various options to build my own scenario, which seems very long winded, i tried it the other day by choosing a ship, weather conditions etc and pressed start and nothing happend, is this usual with Ship simulator 2008? when i go into new on the CD the title of the page says ( Ship Simulator Editor 2008)
Is there a tutorial anywhere?

In the start menu you must press "Play". From what you describe you have entered the mission editor. Do you have two icons on the desktop? One should be for the game and the other for the editor.

I have the exactly the same problem, the license printed on SS2008 1.4.2 and the license key is being rejected by the profile... >:( it is annoying!
