Last week was a double pack (Bugsier 2 and the pontoon). There will be no release this week.

We're working on some real big ones for the next few weeks.

Oooh, Terry... We were told it would be weekly. Not good enough. I DEMAND a refund for this free add on that we haven't received or paid for.  ;D

Hello.

I have a problem with these weekly downloads of new ships / missions. When I installed the new ships, I need a license code to become active in the game. Where can I find this code?
Thank you

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates
Is it just me or did somebody not pay attention during the developing of the Wachthaven III dynamics?
The pic's in the attachement speak for themselfe.
BTW, the Graphic adjustments are the same in both situations.
Regards
Aad

Aad, in fairness do Dr Russell, he did say it would be without wake/ bow splash.

it for free. don't worry about the odd one or two missing things.
if it was £1.99 maybe you can complain

He wasn't complaining. Just commenting. Perhaps removing your spurious post might be in order. Those in glass houses should not throw stones!

Hi All
When terry works on these ships for you there are limitations on what can be done
with the vessel in question watchhaven was one were it was not possible to have
the wake behind the ship but could give you walkthrough.
Believe me he tries his best to give the best he can in realism for all the releases
but sadly he is not god and can only do his best.

An apology to 'Dr. Russell' is in place by me  :-[. If you read this post, Terry, and I'm quite sure you will: SORRY about this  :-[. I just missed that announcement.
What I don't understand is the fact that the Wachthaven III influences the behavior of other vessels. In this case the wash and wake of the inland cargo vessel (see attachments in my previous post).
Kind Regards
Aad

Aad,

I was in NO way criticising your post, so PLEASE don't take it that way... I can understand the confusion regarding these 'add' ons.

Nathan,

Without wishing to open/start/continue adverse discussions, there have been a few inconsistencies regarding these addons- not so much with the models themselves, but the statements made by some members of the CF.

There was a discussion on UKtrainsim about this. SOmeone from the CF is a member there.

BTW, did anybody noticed that once the Wachthaven III is installed she is miracoulosly renamed in Mare Australe?

Aad, I haven't seen that myself but that is a name that was mentioned on UKTS forum... What IS it exactly? I understand it is originally an 06 model- or is it a new/turbosquid/forum designed ship?

Don't really know. Quite odd, almost spooky.

Hi everyone...

I think you gents might find, when digging a little deeper, that it is the name Vstep gave their (former SS06) vessel for the Voortvarend Besparen demo. (And the Pro version too, but not many of you would have seen it in there, or on screenshots or in video footage of Pro.)

I might be wrong but I don't think this name was already there in SS06.. there it was the generic inland container barge, without a specific name. Haven't got SS06 installed atm, so can't check.

It's been renamed for the super pack. No idea why, I kinda liked Mare Australe myself although that's just personal preference..., but it seems the 'core name' still remains the same, ingame, regardless of the change of name for the pack.

Fred.

Hi Aad,
The name "Mare Australe" must appear on the Dutch version of the game only. Her name comes up correctly on the English version. ??? See below.

Like I said, there was some interesting discussions circulating on UKTS about this.

My understanding is that this was the work of vstep, with only some slight modification by the CF- But I don't KNOW that for CERTAIN. Can any of the remaining CF members confirm/refute?

I've tried looking for these posts on UKTS, but they have been deleted. I asked a moderator (not a GODerator, as it's only UKTS, not SS!) and he told me it was deleted by author/starter about a week or so ago... so I can't help... Intriguing all the same.

How about that? As I told in a prior message the Wachthaven III was renamed into Mare Australe. But after re-installing the Selsey II and then the Selsey I and Wachthaven III, the Mare Australe was gone and Wachthaven III was back again. Just to insure that it wasn't a glitch I uninstalled all 3 vessels, re-installed only the Wachthaven III and the very moment I recalled her in the missions screen she was called Mare Australe. I then re-installed Selsey II and Selsey I, no difference. The moment I also installed the Wachthaven III (straight over the excisting installation) she got back her original name. SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKY  !:)
