Title: HD Ferries
Post by: Stuart2007 on January 29, 2010, 19:03:58
Had anyone ever travelled with HD ferries (Channel Islands - France)?

Has anyone ever lived to tell the tale? Did they ever managed to complete a crossing?

I know it isn't easy running a small company up against a large one, but for heaven sake... www.hdferries.co.uk   most of their press statements are about the MCA allowing them to resume service and their licences being revoked/restored.

Flipping hell, they sound really bad... Much worse in fact than a certain white and blue ferry company that has incurred my wrath of late.

I didn't even know of their existence until yesterday... Not an impressive company!

Unfortunately the HD Ferries service is not currently available.
In the meantime we recommend you visit our approved partner website for all your Channel Island Ferry needs:

Well, how long has that been there? I suspect since the site started.

Why has the company chosen not to resume services?

I think the word, 'chosen' should be changed to 'forced to'

One of the channel islands has publically stated that its permission to operate from its port is permenantly revoked...

Just read their website... the press releases from their MD- more schoolboy barracking than you would find on this forum...

Agent Austin type of childish tantrums from the ferry company and continiously announcing 'we're still here and our licence is being returned...' do not inspire confidence at all.
