Title: Has anyone considered a "Great Lakes" Version of SS?

Love this game, newbie here & am addicted. I'm wondering if anyone has considered a great lakes shipping version of this game? I live right on the shores of Lake Superior & the lakes freighters have been part of growing up around here. Any input would be appreciated.

you will find the whole planet is wanted  ;D

Hi Capt. Cooper
If you register your Ship Simulator 2008 license key in your forum profile, you will have access to many other boards, including the one mentioned by Eric.

You will find other members who are interested in the Lakes and the St. Lawrence.
It would, indeed, be a very interesting environment.
Unfortunately, environments are very difficult and expensive to construct.

I suggest that you read the many topics on environments, as well as the bold blue topics at the head of each board. The blue topics will guide you in posting, asking questions, finding things, and solving some of the problems you may encounter.
