Either The Mothman Prophecies or Man on Wire, pretty close. ;D

Impossible to pick a favourite..But one I was happy to be able to watch again recently was "Amarcord" (Fellini)
Also mentionable: the music by Nino Rota   Very nice.. :)

Hoy,
For me it's a bit hard to tell,because when i was younger i've worked at the movies(cinema)as a operator.
I started whan i was 14 and stopped at the age of 27.
In that time between i've seen 1000's of movies.However to anwer on this topic.

Hi Marc,
Did you have electric changeover or dowsers connected by string and pulleys? Or are you one of those youngsters that had the entire feature in one reel on a platter?
My last stint in the booth was in ’54 on a pair of Simplex projectors that I’m sure were older than I. I never did find a set of carbons that matched the feedrate of the lamphouse.

So many different ones to pick from...  :doh:

I have a huge list of favorites..  Das Boot is very high up on the list, as on of my all-time favorites..  So I'll go with that. That.. or Monty Python's Holy Grail and Life of Brian..  those two MP movies score equally high.  ;D

Fred doesn't surprise me with 'Life of Brian' the best comedy of all time. (I know the entire script of by heart- how sad is that?)

other favourite- keeping with the nautical theme of this forum: The Cruel Sea... It shows the real horrors of war aside from the 'lets get 'um' method of Hollywood.

I'm not a big film guy personally, but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying a ton of them! The ones I want to list, I'm afraid I can't remember. Instead, I'll list the three that have given me the most enjoyment in terms of watching with friends/girlfriend/family:

Aliens (Alien 2), Predator, and The Big Lebowski. My brother is quite literally, The Dude. :)

Have you seen the one were it was in Paris... American warewolf in Paris or something equally imaginative... it wasn't HIM but HER who was the howling dog.

BTW WHY does it need to be 'American' warefulf in London? Does it need American in the title to sell it?
