Nope........all it read on the page was: "This video has been removed by the user."
Too bad, maybe......or was it fake?
-
Nope, the movie was taken from the dynamic editor. Would be nice to know, who it has made... ::) and why it was removed?
-
Nothing there Austin?
-
It was there when I watched it earlier this morning, however it does seem to be gone now. :-\
-
what was the video about?
-
RHIB dynamics.
Unfortunately it didn't play on my iPod so all i have is tha title :(
Bit of a conspiracy perhaps?
-
Well there are people out there that have bought SS Pro 2.0. If they'd record some of it and put it on youtube or the likes, that would not surprise me at all. Nor would it be any form of conspiracy, since it's coming from software that is available to anyone that wants to purchase it, of course. ;D

Looks they they improved the motion of the vessels while cliffing through the waves. Keep it up
-
Why can you see the outboard propellors all the time though?
-
Hi Mike,
In the editor, many elements, some imaginary (such as the hydrobox) are visible even if they are below the water. That is the purpose of the editor: to adjust things like the location of the propellers, etc.

Marty

Thanks for that Marty!
-
Hi Mike,
The hydrobox is the faint blue boxy outline around the hull that is visible at the beginning of the video, and is made to disappear via one of the sliders about half-way through.
It is a simplified representation of the hull that is used in the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations.
For instance the vertical location of the hydrobox relative to the model determines how high the ship rides – her draft.

Marty

That video was uploaded by Pjotr (ShipSimatVSTEP) and he does make great recordings.
