Title: Queen Mary 2 arrives in the Mersey.
Post by: Traddles on October 20, 2009, 14:17:31: This morning at 11.00am (BST) the "Queen Mary 2" arrived here in the Mersey. A large portion of the local population turned out to see her. In the second shot you can see "Mersey Viking" passing her outward bound for Belfast. Also one of the Mersey Ferries with the BBC crew aboard taking pictures for the local BBC news is in the foreground.
In the first shot the New Brighton inshore lifeboat (RNLI) is standing by in the foreground. (Just in case. ::))

I remember coming back into Liverpool, on the Liverpool Viking, and seeing those little passenger boats, and tugs, and the Wind Turbines...Interesting to see pics!

As far as I could see there was no damage showing to QM2s' stern. I made a short video but I have no idea how to show it??? ::)

Obviously the Beeb weren't out filming the QM2...
....but the Mersey Viking ;)

You can upload it to YouTube, just as easy as uploading a picture :thumbs:
