does anyone know if there are any mods or other ships you can add to ship sim 08 other than the ones in the add-on & the ones you buy on the official website??

no, there are some repaints of the P6, some new horns and radio sounds, and some new lightning on ships, thats it.  :P

Nope, you get two in the 1.1 patch and then there's the Shipyard and New Horizons.

I take it you have Jumbo Javelin? If not, go to your profile, make sure your licence keys are registered and an orange box appears with the licence key and download links to Jumbo Javelin. :)

yea i have the jumbo javelin & the 2 tugs u can buy. i also have the uptodate patches & the radio & horn update.   what about the repaints & the lights tho?

I think Fred on his unicycle would make a fine addition to SS08...

Seriously, as said Only add-ons are Elbe Furie and Jumbo Javelin. The P6 and a non playeable (AI) Yacht are the only repaintable vessels

shipsim colector edition that include ss 08 + New horizon  and more http://www.shipsim.com/products/ship+simulator+2008+ce.php
and ships in the ships yard http://www.shipsim.com/shipyard/shipyard.php
and Sail Simulator 5 that's not a part of V-Step. it's a standalone game,  sailin simulator from Stentec Software weary fun to play

so here you have all the things you can get from V-Step
and it's are some user made Horns and radio sound download from www.shipsim.com and this are free
And wee have a forum that you can download manny good missions and repaints of the ship P6

That's all you can add to the shipsimulator, but soon the shipsim extreme will come

The Lights for ships and Repaints for the P6 are best found at the Shiff-Sim Welt forum. You can find the Lights in the top link and the P6 repaints in the second link:

 These are great additions, with the lights, you can see your ship and other ships better and the P6 Repaints are fun, they come with lights when you download their right repaint's colors. :thumbs:

seems complicated to add plus the read mes in german or something and it doesnt make sense when i translate it

I understand most of the different languages by using the Google Toolbar's Translator to translate any language to your language.

to install lights put the *.LGT file here C:\Program Files\Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\ship name

to put repaint, unsip the file into a folder and put the new folder here
C:\Program Files\Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Harbour Patrol\you folder

if you have 64 bits windows or vista then it goes here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Harbour Patrol\your folder

C if it their you have installed shipsim
