Greetings,
At the moment their are 2 passengervessels in the game.
I think we need more other vessels first, before we can have another passengervessel.
If the GotlandiaII will be finished,we will have 3 of these vessels.
Lets think first on some extra cargo vessels.
Regards
Marc

I'm afraid that one modeling good ships takes time and also Marc is right. Why don't you propose it in the Vessel Design Group and maybse one day an AIDA vessel will be put in.  ;D

Is it possible for me to download the ship 'Ocean Star' to my ship sim 2008 without downloading New Horizons?

Maybe you can ask AIDA Cruise Lines if they are willing to pay for the development of the ship? Could be a great advertisement campaign for them. But they have to calculate with costs, since VSTEP won't make it for free.

I wonder if that's likely now though, Bottman- as many idiots here seem to enjoy making 'spectacular crashes' and putting them on youtube.

I know if I were MD of a shipping company, I certainly wouldn't. It's a shame some of the idiots don't show restraint really.

Ah well.

Well, as we have seen, there are some ship owners without that doubts, allowing the use of their ships and names and livery. Maybe it is a little bit more important for cruise companies to avoid tragic scenarios with their vessels, than for others?

I work in road transport and was asked for permission to use our livery for a road racing/simulator game. I said "sod off"- for this reason.

Some companies see it as good PR, others don't. I wonder if po ferries are so keen after PoR sank so many times on youtube.

No, they didn't and so they asked again. So I told them to "sod off"

Nothing like a blunt response...
