You have may seen Hudizzle's titanic model on VS forum and maybe tested in VS. But here is the model in Crysis, and its looks pretty nice. Maybe a nice model for SS, i don't like SS version of titanic, it looks like it got many bugs. ::)

The colors in that one are too bright, the masts look to lean back too far, and it's missing morse lamps.
3 reasons the SS model is better off the top of my head within the first minute of video.

Crysis Titanic looks better than SS08 Titanic and VS7 Titanic, it has shadows making it look like a ultimate model, credits for both the modeler and the exporter  :2thumbs:  :2thumbs:

Apparently my comment went completely ignored.
The Ship Simulator model is the most accurate publically available 3D rendering of the Titanic out there. If I recall, that was how Vstep marketed Titanic in SS06. It's accurate, and even still improving. The textures are specified for her, and are as such far more accurate than generic textures seen in level builders etc. The Ship Sim Titanic modeler also gets research support straight from the TRMA.

The Crysis and VS7 Titanic has some things the SS06 and 08 don't got, like the wheelhouse wheel, watertight door controls, phones to nest, engines and boilers, the stairs to the second class enclosing behind the 3rd stack, the notice signs, the name on stern, the anchor on the stern deck near the flag pole, and the elegant Grand Staircase. Not starting a insult topic, just keeping it clean.

The SS08 model has the space rendered and viewable, implying future rendering. The door controls and phones will likely also be included, and will be properly represented, unlike VS. There was no second class housing behind the third funnel. The deckhouses you see on the SS08 model is all that were on the real Titanic. The signs are also very likely to be rendered in a future SS, and I believe that the stern name will be a finishing touch when the model is done.
P.S.: I don't see any signs on the VS or Crysis models aside from the cranes, and the forward 1st class staircase is missing a lot.
Looking further into the video, the ship seems far too under-detailed to act as any decent replacement for Jason's model.

Let now people think and say what they believe themselves, and not to go so hard against, we have heard that you think SS models are better, while others think the opposite! ;)

That IS generally what a discussion or debate is about... ???

Just looks like he getting angry because other think different than him.

Yeah it's quite impressive to see this massive ship in such a massive game engine 8)
Since the Crytek's CryEngine is made to handle a massive amount of so called polygons (tri mesh/3D mesh) it doesn't have any problem with rendering a ship like Titanic with great visual effects (bump maps, shadowing, dynamic shadows etc).
It's quite nice visually but I doubt it would be that nice if this was in a simulator with quite heavy game dynamics that is going to be processed by the CPU... ;)
So in the end it's nice too look at but that's maybe all there is :D

Sorry, it's that I get offended when someone criticizes Mr. De Donno's hard work.
-
I'm sure whoever did that worked hard too. I think huddizle made that and just for the record, I am pretty sure hudizzle talked to the TRMA.
-
But if I'm interpreting the credits right, Jason gets direct support from three of its most knowledgeable members.
Regardless, no matter which model you prefer, the VS, SS, and Crysis models are all very far from complete, as there are features that each and every one of them lack.

That video is the sole reason that I just bought Crysis 10 minutes ago.

Hey, I wonder if this is who that one lying VirtualSailor kid on YouTube meant all those months ago?
HA HA HA!

I don't understand what you meant by that? (Also, he was a jerk. :P)

He claimed to have a friend who was making a better Titanic for Virtual Sailor with full interior.
-
I don't know. His friend probably made a bad one.

I brushed it off identically.
