I just got virtual sailor today and its set up and ready to go, but theres a problem.
I downloaded some of the add-ons such as Nathen C's and irishjack's pride of burgundy, and i dont know how to install them on to virtual sailor and there is no applications file included to run them.
So, could anyone lend me a hand as to tell me how to install them, your help would be much appreceated.
Thnx guys! :2thumbs:

Well you copy the folder "Ship Name" into the boat section of the VS program file
(Have you got the Dover Newbuilds?)

Greets POD,
I'm Irish Jack Hehe.
Well, to do it manually you need to go: My computer/Local Disk/Program Files/Virtual Sailor.
Then, you'll see "Boats", "Instruments", and "Panel". Those are the main ones that you'll use. It's rather straight forward. In the Burgundy file, there's just the one folder (Memory serves me right), which is the boats folder. So, whats in there, pop that into the "Boats" folder in your computer, and then, start VS up, and you should see Burgundy there. Same principal applies to all other ships on the VS Library, just install them in their directories. They should all be labelled so you know where to put them (Boats, instruments, panel etc).
If you need any more help, just ask!
Jack :)
p.s. Also, I would like to mention that the actual Burgundy model itself was developed in Sketchup by TFM (Post above mine). I just did the horn and engine sounds, along with the CG, props etc. But the model is TFM's :) Nathan did some other bits to help out as well
