Title: Basic questions

Is there a user manual available on the internet?
My son has 2008 for PC. He now ordered 2006 as well. When we install this 2006 version, will they be two different "games" or will they act together some way?

Is there anything to we can download from the internet so the 2008 version gets f.e. more ships, more harbours etc?

How can we learn more about this 2008 version -- are there classes or somthing at internet?

Yes, you can find several Ship Simulator Manuals here: http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,4509.0.html

When you have SS08 and SS06 installed, they are two seperate games (I have both, too).

Also, Yes, you can download more ships. You can find all this at: www.shipsim.com - There, you can find "New Horizons", which is an add on pack for SS08 - You get new ships, new environments etc. You can also download more ships, at the "Shipyard", which is also on the website, these ships include the "Steam Tug Furie", And the "Ocean going tug, Elbe".

You can find a lot of info in those manuals, also, You can find information on the "Creators Forum". There are more manuals located there. The link is: http://217.45.209.217/cgi-bin/creators/entry.pl

From there, you can look in the "Manuals" section, that will have plenty for you to have a look at :thumbs:

Well its better to have the Shipsim 2008 I have played 2006 its fine but the 2008 is better I don't think that would be good becuse the other will over right or store to much memory well have a great day  :2thumbs:

They will be installed as two separate games, Jack have the correct answer here, no problems to have 06 and 08 installed on the pc
