Just out of curiosity, do you guys keep old PMs or are you always emptying your inbox? I keep mine, mine must be getting full because I have 91 pages of PMs. My oldest PM is from an older member, who is no longer very active, but I wont say his name, and it is was sent from:
"Sent to: firestar12 on: September 20, 2008, 17:51:06".
-
Yep, everywhere I'm keeping all old PMs. Makes easier to get out some info from the past if needed. ;)
-
Hehe yes, I have PMs from some of the oldest members of the forum! ;D
-
i keep them, my oldest is May 1st, 2007 from Mark
-
I've kept all of mine. Although I dont have too many, only four pages :p. But one of my oldest is from March 22, 2008 from pjotr

Wow! Lucky to get an PM from him! I would die if I got one! He was on facebook chat the other day but did not respond for some reason...
-
lol. i think the pm was about a ship controller of sorts because i asked him a question or something like that :P
-
I do get rid of some old PM's once in a while.
-
I deleted some of mine. My oldest PM was from TJK on March 15, 2009.
-
Does anyone remember their first PM? I believe mine was from Agent Austin, explaining to me how to PM the wout.
-
Yeah, I keep all my PM's, incase I need to refer to them in the future, for whatever reason. So far, it's prooved handy ;)
Jack.
-
Yes, I have Margaret Thatcher, Harold Wilson, Harold MacMillan and Benjamin Disraeli in my collection of old PMs.
-
It takes a brave man to admit that.. ;D
-
Yes, I keep my old PM's, but I have to delete some occasionally. I have a LOT ;D! 23 pages, actually.
Ah.... Hee hee... IIIII remember my first PM  ;D... It was to Wout asking if he could show me how to use the forum ;D... He never responded .
-
Hehe...23 pages...nothing compared to my 91 pages haha! ;D
-
My first PM was from tore in march saying he could make me a sig :2thumbs: I think  I know I dont delete them anymore cause last time i did I deleted the code for my sig
And then the next was from little matt complaining that we had the same name on Multiplay...a warm welcome if you will
-
I keep mine and that has come in handy many times in the past, I only have about 50 pages and that's because I do all my own work and I don't nag people every other minute if I do ask them a favor. :sleepy:

The code is easy-the link to your sig with the img codes around it.

Do you remember Wolpole, too? Did you vote for him? ;D
-
My oldest saved message is from June 18, 2008.
-

No, I voted for the sheep that stood against him (it lost, and was served with mint sauce later that evening).
-
There is a PM here in UK that anyone can gladly have to put on file. (Right at the bottom of the list, that is.) Not all that old either, when compared with myself. ::)
-
Capt T... Lets NOT start on politics, please :o
I can feel the desire to get out my soap box and preach to the converted ::) >:(
-
Oops, I stand corrected, but I also stand up to be counted too. But please, not captain T. Just T will do nicely
-
You've got me started now... Have you noticed how you can't even get into a decent arguement about the government now... As much as you try to tell people how much you hate them, all people reply is "I agree...But MORE than you do..."
Oops. I better not criticise the Government too much... I might end up dead in a wood in Hertfordshire, with my ulnery artery slashed. :o ::) :-\ >:(
-
It usually isn't polite to get into politics, really. I hate getting into political and religious arguments >:(.

I agree with you Captain... And so does MY God. ;D
-
I don't want this to develop into anything like an argument. If so, I will have to lock it.
-
Is it okay if we list the people we give PM's to the most and the least?
-
Well they are personal...I'm not sure, I guess so, as long as you don't list what they are about.
-
Okay. I'm sure the people who you list should be fine. What's the worst that could happen :-X ;D?
I'd have to say the most PM's I give are to Mad_Fred...
The least.. Mr. Russell ;D.
-
Most, Fred of course. Least...98% of the inactive forum members! :2thumbs:
-
So 2% of the innactive ones you PM ;D?
-
I mean 98 of the forum's members are inactive, and I don't PM though. However I do on occasion, PM some inactive ones.
-
Ah. So, why PM the inactive ones?
-
Ah. So, why PM the inactive ones?
That...is none of your business. :)
But if you must know, some of them are my friends. Like "ArmieBoaty" for example. At first when he registered I PMed him telling him I liked his name and I welcomed him to the forum. We PM a lot sometimes.
-
You know, I thought about doing that, and I did once, except I got no answer so I decided not to :(.
-
I have probably PMed Carl the most, back in the day we used to use our 20 maximum PM's all the time, you can search the forum, there are about 3 topics where it is just me and him talking.
(Search DJM)
-

-
Interesting that my first PM was from Jack asking "Is that you Diamant? What happened?"

Nothing to be proud of!
-
WM, Who was his old account? I have NO idea... He must have made it 'top secret' for personal reasons...
I can't imagine who it could be ???
-
Maybe you should look in my signature, Stuart2007.

No point, as signatures are turned off for him as for me. :sleepy:

More mysterious than you?
The teenage pensioner from the Ukraine near somewhere in the East coast of America, who is human/ alien crossbreed who is a student/stockbroker/unemployed freedomfighting member of the FSB?
-
I can happily say that i have roughly 15 PMs in my inbox, and i have never deleted a single one!
I think my first was from Tore about my sig.
-
I think I have about 60 pages of Messages...but I did delete a bunch a while ago.
Jack.
-
I have 12 pages...
-
I have 22 pages. Thus, I don't delete any of them...
-
I have 12 pages, i used to delete them all the time, but now i keep them for future reference.
-
I keep them all... Just so I can show Goderator/Admin that I was PROVOKED into sending whatever PM someone has complained about
