Title: New pc trouble

Hi I was hoping someone with the knowledge could help me to kill this problem as it has annoyed me for days now.
So I try to install windows vista service pack 1, but it keeps failing. NOt sure what the failure message is, but if it is needed I can redo the update and copy the message when it has failed again. It takes about 15 minutes until it fails.
Every other possible update is installed, atleast those who were on windows update.
Also uploaded my dxdiag since it might help here. I have asked for help on their support forum, it's hard to use it and I'm not even sure if I actually posted it or not, since I can't find that subforum back, even though I bookmarked it.
And one last question, does my graphic card steal momory from the RAM?
I really appreciate it if someone can help me, ao I hope someone can, even though this is not a forum related to microsoft.

Hi Minime,
It looks as if your computer is below the minimum required to play SS 2008. You have only 2044MB RAM which is the minimum required with Vista. BUT your graphics card shares 766MB memory with the RAM. This sadly brings it well below the minimum level.
I notice your graphics driver is quite old (17th September, 2007). It might be worth downloading an up to date driver from the NVidia website. This could help, but I am not certain of this.
Please note I am NOT a computer expert but this certainly seems to be where your problem lies.

actually it runs SS great, it is just the SP 1 problem that bothers me. But I'm planning to buy some more ram soon.

download the vista SP 2 it's out and improve vista alot

Nope i use the IE 8 now, and now i have set it up to work perfect and only vista 64 bit ultimate, i wait for the 7 to com in my postbox from microsoft  ;D
