Hi,
Yesterday, I was lucky enough to go on a visit on the P&O Cruise Ship Aurora whilst she was berthed in Southampton. Whilst onboard we went on a guided tour around the ship and then had a five star meal onboard! Later on I had a quick look around Southampton, and managed to see a few Ships. :2thumbs:
Here are some internal shots of the Aurora. I will sort out some pics of the other vessels I saw and post them later.

Nice pics from a beautifully ship, she has visited Kristiansand Norway many times and this time i got a look inside to, Tanks for this Pictures and the guiding tour FM

However my grandparents were on her last cruise (venice), they were pleased with the ship, however they did say that the boat rolls allot, even with hardly any swell..

It was indeed a lovely tour. They took you round all public areas of the ship.
RMSGB: I would loved to have been on the cruise, especially as it was going to Scandinavia/Baltic. Well, we can all dream... ;D
I will sort out a few of the Southampton shots and put them on later.

Im sure I can see my house from the pool shot. Also that tower block in your last pic is where my brother lives we watched the farewell flyby of the QE2 from his balcony.

Its weird, I see these boats pretty much every day and never really payed much attention to it all.
Seeing it all how you have captured it I think I will take some time over the weekend to take a proper look.
The hm5 has been there for many years now it was going to be converted into a houseboat but never finished there are a few more houseboats around st denys. And the silver dome is the marchwood recycling centre.
