Title: GPS position is way off
Post by: Vecten on August 01, 2007, 15:10:48
Whilst sailing a tanker in the Channel today I noticed that the displayed GPS position actually put me in the centre of Belgium (never a good place to be). My apologies if this is a known bug, I only received the game today.

Hiya

This sounds like some kind of BUG, The GPS doesn't always show the exact position(in real life too) but this sound very extreme ;)

btw what's wrong with belgium??...

Belgium is a beautiful country  ;) but not the best place to sail a tanker.

Whilst I'm on the topic, why do I have to use Google Earth to find out where I am? Should that not be in the game?

Well I don't know if you've noticed but the in-game chart doesn't show any land when using the Channel region, so you have no idea where you are.
