I was thinking about a new camper and this thought crossed my mind. How many of you guys go camping, whether in a camper or tent? I've been camping since 1998 and we started with a pop up trailer and currently have a trailer that has pop out bunks at each end and the rest is hard bodied :D
-
We go camping sometimes, as we have a 8-man tent. We take all sorts of things such as a cooking stove, pop-up chairs and wind-breakers for privacy :)
I have also been camping in a proper caravan (or trailer to you weird americans ) with my grandparents :)
-
I've always wanted to stay in a caravan, I have a few times when I was really little and have some really weird memories of it, such as having a big hole in my knee which looked like a sandwich.
But staying in a caravan would be really fun, you live where ever you park! How awesome would that be? But that would be the same as being on a ship, live whilst you sail. :D

Haha!! ;D
I have been camping in a tent on a campground, we always had the biggest fire!
-
I've been camping when I was a boyscout years ago. Now I camp with my family.

Ah classic, a campfire just completes a day of camping, especially with smores. We actually took apart our gas grill to make smores one time due to a fire ban :D

I, myself, have never actually gone out camping, Since, Back in Ireland, you already had the countryside around you anyway. You could just go and explore for yourself ;D
Though, I do know dad did used to have a VW Campervan, at one point. (One of the old style ones).
Jack.
-
Cool, I love those camper vans, and they're worth a bit now too!
-
I and a friend once went camping, in a forest or whatever they call it, which ain't really big, was quite funny. We used a 3 man tent I think it was.
-
If your on an island in a cabin with electricity is that considered camping? :-\ If it is then I go "camping" for 2 weeks in Nove Scotia If not then im a city boy
-
I'm afraid not Matt, camping is when you go 'back to basics' by using a makeshift tent and being in the outdoors.
I myself love camping, the feeling of waking up to the birds sing and the fresh air is wonderful :)
-
Oh OK than I kinda agree with diamant Im not a roughing it kinda person Im more of a city boy type as I said
-
We always go camping each year (my family goes multipl times, but I go only once a year). We go at our secret place (I cannot tell) but we may be going to a campground this year.

i've got my share of the country side where i live, but i still love camping :D

My wife loves going up mountains with a tent strapped on her back.
I love waving her off.
For me, anything less than a 5 star hotel is slumming it.
-
you actually just have to walk for 10 minutes to go camping here.
-
I used to go... No time anymore...
-
I love to go camping in Sweden every year! First reason: I have to board a ship to come over! Second: it's allways close to the nature. Third: it is very relaxed there. Need more informations? Ask the Swedish Tourist Board ;) ;D
Oh, since a few years we have a caravan, formerly a mobil home (camper) and before that a very cosy tent.
Cheers and Heja Sverige

Wow! 4 computers?!

4 Computers are a lot of PCs to play Ship Sim on. One for the game, one for the Mission Editor, one for the splitscreen chart and the last one to play Multiplay! ;D
-
Ahh of course! Silly us, I thought there was SOME logic to all this ;D
Anyway, who else likes camping?

Considering the fact that I only have one outgoing IP Address for 26 computers with a constant 12 on at once. I think I'm do'in pretty good.
