... I actually had my speaker stands arrive!! ;D
Whilst I won't divulge into the ins and outs of what happened - lets just say that I've been seriously messed about when getting a decent unbroken set of speaker stands.
One of the knobs to tighten the tripod legs is smashed, but there's a replacement on the way (apparently).
Here's a picture I took today in our back garden, you'll see the speakers I use to do discos with :)

Fantastic! Now you can throw me free disco parties!
-
Haha I'd need some hefty speakers to make sure it's loud enough ;D
-
WOW that is a bit overkill

Overkill? Why is that? Those speakers are not large by far - not for disco use anyway :)

Inside or outside if it is in your house than the :police: might say something about the noise , Ive had bad experiances with the police and speakers ::)
An old lady next door complained that I disturbed her afternoon nap and called the cops on me

Hi,
They are 200W each speaker, so 400w in total. They have 15" bass drivers and a 1 1/2" compression driver. They are loud when you turn it up :)
I didn't have them plugged in yesterday, I just wanted to make sure they were ok on the speaker stands :)
Ballast - I certainly will when I get another gig come through ;D

Ahh I see ;)
However, the only difference with my speakers to yours is that even though yours have ah igher wattage, the I use for the disco have a higher SPL and "throw" on them :)
They look like they could pack a punch though and they're 3-way too, so they should sound excellent!
