Title: My website!
Post by: firestar12 on May 30, 2009, 21:33:23
Hi guys, it is now the time I have always been waiting for! I have finally purchased a webpage. I paid Adam a few minutes ago but it will be a few hours before you guys see anything, and another few hours before he logs on and sees it. The webpage is basically to show off my work, and a few other things. Be sure to check it often! ;D

So when you say that you can't edit it, what is stopping you?

You can open the html page by right clicking on the file and selecting "Open with" and then selecting notepad. Yu can save it by selecting "File/Save".

When you save a new web page from notepad or save a page using "File/Save as", make sure that you put the file name in inverted commas, e.g. "webpage.html" or else Notepad will kindly add ".txt" to the end of the name, giving you "webpage.html.txt". That won't open in a browser.

Hi Adam.

Is that a Unix site or a Win32-based site?

(I'm think 755, 644 here, of course)
